TIM DARBONNE

 VISUAL DESIGNER AND CLINICIAN

I create custom drill design for marching bands, drum
corps indoor winds ensembles, and indoor percussion ensembles. I offer drill design that is not only effective but is also musical, practical, and CLEANABLE! I have designed for indoor groups as small as 9 members to marching bands as big as 400+ with every level of competitive goals and training background.

I strive to make sure you receive a product that is easy to follow while still being easy to teach. Please take a look around to learn a little bit about me and to view samples of previously designed drill. Feel free to send me an email with any questions you may have about booking me as your drill designer!

"The goal of a designer is to listen, observe, understand, sympathize, empathize, synthesize, and glean insights that enable him or her to ‘make the invisible visible."

–Hillman Curtis

“Content precedes design. Design in the absence of content is not design, it’s decoration.”  –Jeffrey Zeldman

“Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.” –M.C. Escher

Congratulations on a fantastic 2018 Season!

I feel very lucky to have been a part of so many fantastic ensembles in 2018! Whether it was as a design client, full time instructor, or guest clinician it was definitely one of the most memorable years I've had teaching and designing!
